More about me and what I like to do:

Driving Innovation in Digital Health & Rehabilitation Technology | Founder | PT | Clinical Consultant | Author | Speaker

As the founder and consulting PT of SmartMovesPT, I bring a unique blend of clinical expertise, digital health innovation, and patient advocacy to the evolving landscape of rehabilitation technology. SmartMovesPT, a digital health tech division of my private practice, PTC Physical Therapy, delivers virtual care, advisory services, and clinical consulting to industry leaders and rehabilitation organizations.

With a background as a physical therapist, nutritionist (former RD), author, keynote speaker, health podcaster, and clinical consultant, I integrate evidence-based strategies with emerging digital tools to enhance patient outcomes. My expertise spans digital assessments, telehealth, digital therapeutics, wearable technologies, and patient-generated outcome data—helping bridge the gap between technology, user experience, and real-world clinical impact.

As a stroke survivor, I bring both a professional and deeply personal perspective to improving rehabilitation pathways. I am committed to ensuring that digital health solutions prioritize usability, accessibility, and effectiveness for patients and providers alike. My work includes advising on product development, optimizing user experience, and implementing innovative rehab technologies that empower both clinicians and patients.

I am currently writing my second book on the challenges and opportunities in stroke care pathways, advocating for a more connected, patient-centered approach to neurological recovery with a focus on how we cross that care bridge into the home.

Let’s build the future of digital rehabilitation together. Whether you’re an innovator in digital health, a healthcare leader, or a researcher pushing the boundaries of rehab technology, I’d love to connect.

How are you driving change in connected care? Let’s talk!
